Located in East Village, this swanky, vintage-chic lounge is a mixology driven cocktail bar & lounge by evening and dance club by night. The venue reveals the image of a charming contemporary home, placed away behind a worn wood disguise. Since its introduction in 2012, Open House NYC has grown to become an inviting space that welcomes the discerning crowd. Atmosphere: This newly designed venue offers a vintage glam appeal where a combination of flea market-style décor and unique knickknacks are mixed and matched. Well-known nightlife expert and columnist for Blackbook, Steve Lewis was the master designer of the venue, creating an elegant setting. ?The fashionably worn antique furnishings combine with chic modern accents, creating a lavish ambiance. Ornamented in unfinished, stained and aged wood, the decor is completed with golden wallpaper in a rich design. Bric-a-bracs and drawers filled with mason jars, vintage perfume bottles and other knick-knacks give off an old-school charm. In addition, Open House NYC presents a cozy atmosphere with its exposed brick walls, delicate earthy characters and warm lighting fixtures.

 

Menu: If you’re looking for a variety of tasteful options, Open House club NYC has just the menu for you. From seafood to meat/poultry to vegetarian, guests can indulge in simple, yet delicious bites. Prices are based on a two-hour event. For $30/person, guests can choose 6 options off the menu, $35/person choice of 8 options, $42/person choice of 8 options. In addition, customers can indulge in the enjoyable platter menu. Platters are available for small parties of 15 to 20 people or large parties of 25- 35 people (price varies depending on platter). Guests can also purchase a platter package. For $40, guests can choose 6 options, 2 platters (meat and cheese), salad and dessert.

 

While the dining menu is undoubtedly satisfying, it’s the signature cocktails that are the driving force behind Open House NYC’s success. Guests can choose from a list of mouthwatering cocktails. Though all are uniquely enjoyable, visitors should try the Deal Opener: Raspberry & lychee infused vodka, st germain, crème yvette, lime, lychee juice and the Houston Mule: Lapsang souchong tea infused siembra azul tequila reposado, lime, ginger, lime beaver fever tree.

 

Private Events: Go beyond the typical venue for your next event and check out Open House NYC for your next function. From corporate parties to media events and fundraisers, this lavish venue hosts a vast range of occasions. The venue’s private event space offers 2,100 square feet, with a maximum capacity of 250. For seated events, the lounge holds up to 70 individuals while a standing event can hold up to 180 individuals. Open House NYC provides a chic and warm setting that allows you to create the ambiance you need to make your gathering memorable.
