6 Must-Haves To Survive A Hangover in NYC

Its around 7a.m. give or take an hour and as your eyes shutter open a multitude of thoughts race through your mind; “How did I get home last night? Please let there be water in arms reach, how much did I drink? I hope I didn’t do anything stupid last night, let me check my Snapchat story. Why in the world am I up at this hour? HOW am I going to get rid of this hangover?… I am never drinking again.”

Sound familiar? Although the truth to some of these questions may never be uncovered, fortunately we have some answers to how you can deal with that dreaded feeling after a night out.

Hangovers come in all different shapes sizes and forms, which evidently means, so do their remedies. For some, a hot (or cold) shower and a couple Advil do the trick, but for others, recovery can be a full days task. Below are the trendiest ways to spend your hangover. These activities are a New Yorkers best bet for rehabilitation.

The “Sweat It Out” Remedy: Sometimes the only way to feel better is to sweat the toxins out. These exercise classes are fun and will most definitely have you breaking a sweat.

SoulCycle: This workout class is 45 minutes of indoor cycling. At SoulCycle they believe that fat-burning cardio can be joyful through climbing, jogging, sprinting and dancing. Their enthusiastic instructors, candlelight atmosphere and pump up music can help to empower you with the strength you need to overcome your hangover. After a ride at SoulCycle one will leave mentally and physically stronger than upon arrival.

These Miami-inspired classes have live DJ’s who coordinate their music with each instructor’s choreography. 305 Fitness lets you “turn it up, sweat it out, and just go for it.” For those who had to be dragged off the dance floor at the end of the night this class is for you. 305’s dance cardio workout will mirror a night out partying while also allowing you to sweat out that hangover.

Popping bottles, sipping on a mojito fish bowl, enjoying decadent brunch foods and of course dancing, on tables chair and booths. As the day goes on the lights dim, the curtains shut and Bagatelle Brunch becomes more of what appears to be a nightclub over a brunch restaurant. Expect to have a hangover from your hangover recovery.
